USPTA Eastern Division Regions
The USPTA Eastern Division is divided into 6 regions covering the areas of New York and New Jersey. Each region has a District President, supporting members and USPTA programs within their area. Below are the District Presidents of each region within the USPTA Eastern Division.

Through regional workshops, seminars and conventions the USPTA wants to give you the tools to become a top professional in the field.

I have the following goals for the region: To reach out to all the UPSTA members in the northern region and be conduit of information for them. I am planning to hold some clinics and gatherings in our area by the end of summer before the indoor season and one more during the winter. I am looking to use the Turning Stone Resort as a meeting place. I hope to visit as many of our professionals as possible during the course of the year. It is my goal to reach out to you and be accessible as well. Call anytime!! Please use me for any questions or input or feedback. My job is to help extend the services of the USPTA to its members and help potential members get the right information for certification.
Central/Western New York Region

I am Steve Pekich and I’m the District President for Central and Western Upstate New York. The easiest way to think of this Region, is that if you live somewhere between I-81 and Niagara Falls, I have the honor of representing you. There is a lot of tennis played in this Region, however, with two pro tournaments (in Binghamton and Rochester), the USTA League Championship in August (in Syracuse), and with the snowfall we get here, a ton of indoor tennis clubs in every city. The USPTA is well represented in Western, with USPTA clinics offered in various Upstate cities. These are communicated to you by the ProVisions Magazine and by email. We have our own USPTA Tester as well, in our President Ron Dyson. Most of the veteran USPTAs of Western will know me and if you are moving into the area, don’t be afraid to call or email.
